Summit Ice Takes Part in Breaking the World Record! |

Summit Ice was excited to be part of a Guinness Record by donating the ice necessary to create and chill the worlds largest smoothie. During the annual Strolling of the Heifers in Brattleboro, VT, on June 4, 2011, the worlds largest smoothie was created. The smoothie measured 327.58 gallons, which beat the previous record by 63.41 gallons set in Toronto last summer. |

Ice Sales Heat Up After Storm |
|
(Saturday, May 29, 2010) – Ice has become a high demand, and a rare, commodity in Franklin County. Residents throughout the county, especially in Montague, Gill and Leyden, sought out bags of ice on Thursday and Friday to stuff into their refrigerators and freezers to keep their food from spoiling after Wednesday night’s violent and destructive storm. I was one of those people.
